Message from Ronaldo

The Ronaldo Academy provides a great experience to the youth. We deliver not only top-quality football training but also promote important human attributes such as sportsmanship, fairness, goodwill, and respect for others. Our intention is to provide motivation, instill encouragement, and gift the young players with social skills for a lifetime.

Naturally, football is the centerpiece around which all the teaching revolves. Football is a sport that demands creativity, physical and mental agility, and seamless teamwork; all traits that will be very important for the youth as they grow up and engage with the world.

I have been very fortunate to play for some of the world’s most renowned clubs and with some of the most knowledgeable coaches and managers of the modern era. I have brought together all the experience in playing for Cruzeiro, Corinthians, PSV, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and the Brazilian National Team; and I am now making it all available to the students at the Ronaldo Academy. Naturally, my extensive experience has been adapted so that it can be taught to children and teenagers in a way that they can understand, learn, and incorporate into their own playing style. This aggregation of my experience packaged into a structure that is smoothly and easily transferable to the youth is what I call the “Ronaldo methodology”.

Playing football requires much more than pure physical skills. High levels of strategic thinking, determination, coolness of mind, ability to excel under pressure, and unrelenting perseverance are all required. All these critical attributes are taught and promoted at the Ronaldo Academy. This is the reason why all Ronaldo Academy coaches undertake a very comprehensive, extensive, strenuous, and extremely detailed training at our state-of-the-art Ronaldo Academy in Campinas, São Paulo in Brazil.
